Mix all the ingredients in a blender until a smooth consistency.
Notes
* Cutting and freezing some fruit like the banana or pear will give the smoothie a beautiful, smooth, creamy mouth-feel and might be more enjoyable for picky eaters.
*I try to buy organic kale, spinach, cucumber or berries since it is part of the ‘’dirty dozen’’ that contain the most pesticides. If I can’t find organic vegetables, I give it a good soak for about 15 minutes with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 2-litreswater.
